240 years ago, in 1774 Mr. Francesco Pineider opened shop in Florence, Italy, producing exclusive hand-engraved personalized paper. Pineider soon became the in demand stationer for Europeans who appreciated the uniqueness of his products. Pineider continues those traditions today and offers a unique presentation with the Avatar series, for which they developed "Glueless" technology, which uses 3D engineering and rigid manufacturing standards to ensure each pen is assembled and perfectly fit without glue. To make the filling system more precious by imitating famous watch making, Pineider took a embellished and refined the piston filler. You can hide the blind cap in the barrel after having filled it, hence the name, the Mystery Filler. The system is made from 7 parts, of high precision, that allows activation of the piston and hiding the button in a way that cannot interfere with the cap when posted. The outlook is beautiful with the activation spring and bearing ball going up and down (this allows the all system to work).
The quill nib : This brand new nib was developed in 2017 and, after long test period, has just been readied for release. Following the world trend for flexible nibs, Pineider defines the quill nib as iperflex with an excellent memory.
